| Welcome New Members! | If you are looking for a church home, we heartily welcome you to
worship with us. No one will pressure you to become a member of this parish
or the Episcopal Church as we believe that there are many paths to God.
You may worship with us for as long as you like until you are ready to
make a membership decision.
You might want to know something about us before you start thinking about membership. The following Mission Statement and Vision Statement will give you some insight as to who we are as a parish. If you have never been baptized, Baptism is necessary for receipt of the other Sacraments of the Church. The Rector will discuss what is necessary to prepare for Baptism. The Episcopal Church encourages all adults to be confirmed or, if you have been previously confirmed, to be formally received into the Anglican Communion. Confirmation or Reception involves the laying on of hands by the Bishop. We offer Inquirers' Classes for newcomers and members during the season of Lent, whether they are new to the Episcopal Church or simply to this parish. We encourage you to participate as these classes will help you learn about our customs and practices. If you have any question, please feel free to call the Parish Office at 630-584-2596. |
